View GLB models online

Open a self-contained GLB file and explore its actual glTF 2.0 scene. GLB can bundle geometry and materials in one local file, making it a convenient choice for sharing a static model with its hierarchy intact.

Scene hierarchy and materials

Use the model tree to select the real imported scene nodes and mesh parts. Inspect materials, rotate the model and isolate parts. GLB coordinates use metres; the viewer can display measurements in the units you select without silently assuming millimetres.

GLB compared with external glTF

A self-contained GLB usually needs only one selected file. A .gltf file with external data needs its local BIN buffers and images selected together. Missing companions are errors, and model URIs cannot contact external hosts.

Static scenes and extension scope

The viewer supports static glTF 2.0 scenes; animation playback is not exposed. Required Draco, Meshopt, Basis and other unsupported extensions are rejected. Measurements are approximate mesh results, and section cuts remain uncapped.

How to view a model

  1. Open the viewer and select the local .glb file.
  2. For external .gltf, also select its BIN buffers and images.
  3. Check the actual hierarchy, materials and metre source units.
  4. Rotate, section or measure the model and export the results you need.
